Ⅰ. Purpose:
Defoamer 8804 is a polyether-based nonionic surfactant synthesized through catalytic reaction of polyol with propylene oxide and ethylene oxide. Being non-toxic and non-hazardous, it exhibits excellent defoaming performance and is widely used in various industrial sectors including chemical, petroleum, papermaking, and pharmaceutical industries. During the PVC polymerization process, this defoamer effectively eliminates foam formation in the mixing tank when preparing PVA and HPMC.

Ⅲ. Usage:
In the preparation of PVA and HPMC, GPE can be added directly or diluted with 2-10 times water to form a dilute solution, and can be added intermittently or continuously. The recommended dosage is less than 20 ppm.
IV. Packaging and Storage:
The product shall be packaged in 200kg plastic drums or as required by
the user. It shall be stored in a cool, dry place, protected from sun and rain,
with a shelf life of 12 months.
